On This Day in Leadership History, August 5th

On this day in leadership history in 1833, the village of Chicago was incorporated. The population was approximately 250 people. By the time the 1890 census rolled around, there were over 1 million people. Today there is 2.7 million people.

What’s the leadership lesson? Our tendency as humans is to live and work in the moment. But as a leader, think how you can prepare for future growth both for yourself and those you lead. It’s your duty and responsibility to think ahead!
