On This Day in Leadership History, August 2nd

On this day in leadership history in 1938, bright yellow baseballs were used in a major league baseball game between the Brooklyn Dodgers and the St. Louis Cardinals. It was hoped that the balls would be easier to see.

What’s the leadership lesson? It’s okay for honorable leaders to try a new idea; then if it doesn’t work, you can revert back to a old proven one. But keep innovating and trying new things.
