It was an honor to speak recently at The Aviation History and Technology Center in the Atlanta area for the dedication of a new permanent POW/MIA table. Unlike traditional formal dinners, this display will remain outside day and night—rain or shine—symbolizing what our POWs and MIAs endured.

My fellow Vietnam POW brother, Wayne Waddell, also spoke, sharing a stark reminder of our captivity and the extraordinary faith, resolve, and support networks that helped us survive with remarkable resilience. I’m also humbled to remember the legacy of those who never came home and what true courage looks like.
