I had the pleasure of meeting the Galantis this past December at a fundraiser for the Southwest Virginia Veterans’ Cemetery. After only a few short minutes of cocktail party conversation, one could easily see what special people they were. I was particularly struck by her grace, charm, and warmth. Her story of what she did “back home” was as interesting as was his story of captivity. RIP
